A Charity Relay Rallying Singapore Together
In celebration of Singapore's 60th year of independence, Zephyr Running Club and Li Foundation jointly launched Relay SG60 by Relay Majulah — a nationwide charity relay run that brings together runners, community groups, and corporate partners to support meaningful social causes.
Held from 4 to 6 September 2025, the event is more than a sporting challenge. It is a community movement built around the spirit of unity, resilience, and giving — reflecting the shared values that have shaped Singapore's journey over the past six decades.
A 60-Hour Relay for Singapore's 60th Year
Relay SG60 by Relay Majulah brings together 60 teams representing diverse sectors of society. Each team runs 10 kilometres before passing the baton to the next, forming a continuous 60-hour relay covering 600 kilometres around the Marina Bay area.
The relay symbolises Singapore's progress as a nation — a collective journey where each individual contributes their effort to move the country forward.
Participants range from corporate teams and non-profit organisations to community groups, running clubs, and recreational runners — representing the full diversity and inclusivity that define Singapore.

Running with Purpose: Supporting Community Chest
Relay SG60 is not only a physical endurance challenge — it is also a charity fundraising initiative with real community impact.
All public donations raised through the event go directly to Community Chest, the philanthropy and engagement arm of the National Council of Social Service (NCSS) of Singapore. These funds support more than 200 social service programmes across the country.
The programmes benefit the most vulnerable members of the community, including children with special needs, youths at risk, adults with disabilities, families in financial hardship, seniors requiring support, and persons facing mental health challenges.
With a total fundraising of SGD 406,456, the contributions are further amplified through the SG Gives dollar-to-dollar Matching Grant for SG60 — doubling the impact to SGD 812,912 for charitable causes.
A Ground-Up Initiative Led by the Community
Relay SG60 continues the legacy of Relay Majulah, a philanthropic running initiative first launched in 2019 to rally Singaporeans through sport and community service.
Zephyr Running Club
Zephyr Running Club is a non-profit organisation with a public benefit purpose, dedicated to building an inclusive and supportive community and inspiring personal growth through the power of running. Founded in 2021 at West Coast Park by Charles Yang and Glen Tan, Zephyr has grown into a vibrant community of 500 runners — the 'Coconuts' — who champion charity events and use running to give back to society.
Li Foundation
Li Foundation is a philanthropic organisation dedicated to supporting impactful community initiatives, social innovation, and collaborative giving.
Together, the two organisations work to create opportunities for individuals and organisations to contribute to a more caring and inclusive Singapore.

More Than a Run: A Movement of Unity and Giving
Relay SG60 by Relay Majulah embodies the belief that small efforts, when combined, can create meaningful impact.
As runners pass the baton from team to team across 60 hours, they symbolise something larger than the race itself — the shared responsibility of a community moving forward together.
By combining sport, philanthropy, and community participation, Relay SG60 demonstrates how collective action can uplift lives and strengthen the social fabric of Singapore.
