At Zephyr, we believe that every runner — whether a long-standing club member or a newcomer from the public — deserves a structured path to their goals. For the past four years, we have been dedicated to helping athletes transform their performance and smash their Personal Best (PB) records.
Our Specialised Training Groups
To ensure you are training at the right intensity, our club is organised into pace-specific groups. These groups are labelled according to your target marathon finish time: Sub-4:00, 3:45, 3:15, and 3:00.


A Dynamic, Weekly-Updated Curriculum
Marathon preparation requires more than just clocking miles. Our training programs are updated weekly to reflect the current stage of the racing season, ensuring peak progression and proper recovery. Our methodology focuses on five core pillars:
- Tempo Runs: Building the stamina to maintain your target race pace.
- Interval Training: Improving cardiovascular efficiency and top-end speed.
- Fartlek Sessions: Incorporating speed play to adapt to different race conditions.
- Long Runs: Building the endurance necessary for the full 42.195 km.
- Recovery Runs: Prioritising active rest to prevent injury and maintain consistency.
Weekly Schedule & Full Support
We host three coached sessions per week designed to fit into a busy athlete's lifestyle: Monday tempo runs at Red Dot, Wednesday intervals at MOE Evans, and weekend long-distance or Fartlek runs at East Coast or West Coast Park.
At Zephyr, we handle logistics so you can focus entirely on your performance. Every training session is fully supported with hydration and supplemental nutrition — such as bananas — to keep you fuelled. Our dedicated volunteers are on-site at every session to look after your belongings while you hit the track.
Race Day: We've Got You Covered
Our support doesn't stop when the race begins. On race day, the Zephyr team rises early to set up dedicated stations providing the hydration and supplements you need to keep moving. Alongside our vibrant cheer squad to motivate you through the final kilometres, our camera crew is stationed along the route to capture every unforgettable moment of your journey to the finish line.
