Relay For Life

Since 2023, Zephyr Running Club has been an active participant in Relay For Life Singapore, a national community movement organised by Singapore Cancer Society that rallies individuals, families, and organisations to stand in solidarity with those affected by cancer. The annual overnight event brings together thousands of participants who run or walk through the night in a powerful symbol of perseverance, remembrance, and hope.

Through this meaningful platform, communities gather to celebrate cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost to the disease, and collectively fight back against cancer while raising funds for programmes that support patients, caregivers, and survivors.

A Growing Commitment

Zephyr joined the movement in 2023 with a simple but powerful mission: to run for those who cannot, support those who are fighting, and make every step count. What began as a small group effort has since evolved into a growing community initiative that reflects the club's belief in the power of collective action.

Since 2025, Zephyr Running Club has elevated its involvement by stepping forward as a Gold Event Partner of Relay For Life Singapore, joining forces with the Singapore Cancer Society in advancing the event's mission of awareness, community engagement, and support for cancer care initiatives. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to strengthening community participation and amplifying the message that no one should face cancer alone.

Impact Beyond the Track

From 2023 to 2026, Zephyr Running Club has raised more than S$109,000 through fundraising initiatives connected to the event. These efforts contribute directly to programmes that provide cancer screening, rehabilitation services, financial assistance, and supportive care for patients and their families across Singapore.

Across multiple editions of the event, Zephyr has activated more than 500 runners and volunteers, transforming individual passion for running into meaningful community impact. Members and supporters have taken part in overnight relay runs, volunteered at event activities, and rallied wider networks to raise awareness for the cancer cause.
